The Sustainable Water Forum is hosted by the Coalition for Alternative Wastewater Treatment (CAWT). CAWT supports sustainable water designs and technologies that work with and mimic nature, that restore natural hydrologies and ecosystems, and that provide multiple energy, green space, and other benefits to communities. CAWT is a national alliance of advocates for and experts in decentralized water and wastewater treatment and management. Formed in 1994, the Coalition has focused on analysis of federal, state, and local policies and funding, and on developing innovative approaches in regulations, markets, planning, and community participation.
